No opposition has capacity to thwart President Tinubu’s reelection in 2027 – Northern Governor
Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election chances in 2027, declaring that no opposition or coalition can thwart his second-term bid.
Speaking at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, where he received the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria and President Tinubu’s first daughter, Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the Governor reaffirmed his state’s commitment to supporting the President.
“The leadership style of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is a great one that benefits Kebbi State and Nigeria at large,” Governor Idris said, citing various projects facilitated by the President in the state as a reason for their continued support.
According to a statement from the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ahmed Idris, the President’s daughter was in Kebbi to pay a condolence visit on the passing of the Emir of Zuru, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Sani Sami, who died in London at the age of 81.
During her visit, Chief Tinubu-Ojo extended her condolences to the Emir’s family, the Governor, and the people of Kebbi State.
She prayed for the late Emir’s soul to rest in peace and for his family to be granted strength during this difficult time.
