Former Governor passes away, President Tinubu mourns

President Bola Tinubu has offered his condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Col. Mohammed Mana (Ret.), who passed away on Saturday morning in Abuja.

Mana was a prominent figure, having served as a military administrator of Plateau State and a senator for Adamawa North from 2007 to 2011.

The President described Mana as a “distinguished patriot and officer gentleman who gave much to his fatherland in and out of uniform.”

In a statement, President Tinubu praised the late All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain for his dedication to public service and a better society, noting that his leadership and counsel will be deeply missed.

The President also extended his sympathies to the government and people of Adamawa State and to the APC family in the state, all of whom, he said, benefited from Senator Mana’s wisdom.

At the time of his death, Senator Mana was serving as the chairman of the party’s Reconciliation Committee.
