JUST IN: Three Coronavirus patients disappear, again

Three COVID-19 patients have deserted their homes in Kano.

The Coordinator of Kano Taskforce on COVID 19, Dr Tijjani Hussain, disclosed this in Kano

The Coordinator said the three patients disappeared from their respective houses and have been unreachable, claiming they have also switched off their phones

He said the State has put together a team comprising medical personnel and security agents to searh for them so that they can resume their treating regimes

Hussain said: “We are collaborating with security agents to track them and bring them to the isolation centre.”

Kano State is presently going through a major crisis with several Coronavirus related deaths occuring everyday.

Governor of the State Dr Abdulai Ganduje has also alleged that the State has been abandoned by the Federal government in the face of the pandemic. Ganduje made the claim while answering questions on BBC Africa
