FG has abandoned us in Kano – Gov Ganduje
In the face of mysterious deaths happening daily in Kano State for the past few days, the Governor of the State Dr Abdulai Ganduje had accused the federal government of neglecting the state
The Governor made the allegation while answering questions on BBC Hausa Service on Monday
When asked if the State was getting supports from federal government agencies on the fight against Coronavirus, the Governor replied: “Sincerely speaking, we are not getting deserved attention.
“If these equipment (testing centre) are under our control, we will do our best to make sure it works properly.
“But we are not getting the needed support and cooperation from Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.”
The testing center has been closed down in Kano State for some days now owing to lack of testing kits.
