BREAKING: Gov Fubara gets 48 hour-ultimatum from House of Assembly to present 2025 Budget

The Rivers State House of Assembly has handed down a 48-hour ultimatum to the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara to present the 2025 budget.

The Assembly’s demand was made during Monday’s plenary session.

Security was heightened at the Rivers House of Assembly Quarters as the House held its sitting.

Speaker of the House, Martin Amaewhule announced the notice for the session earlier on Monday morning.
