Headless bodies of Mother, baby dumped beside primary school

According to a source, two headless bodies, presumed to be a mother and her baby have been found near a primary school in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
This was made public by the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Yemisi Opalola, who claimed that the bodies were dumped opposite the AUD Primary School, Isale Agbara, Ile-Ife.
According to a resident, the corpse must have been dumped on Tuesday night.
They explained that the bodies were without clothes, while the baby was wearing a diaper.
“When the corpses were found, we contacted officials of the local government council in the town and they have evacuated the bodies and deposited them in the morgue,” Opalola stated.
She added that the State Commissioner of Police has directed the Police Command to investigate the incident, in a bid to make the perpetrators face the wrath of the law.
She thereby urged members of the public to assist the police with meaningful information that assist the police operatives to nab the perpetrators as soon as possible.
