Local Govt Chairman dies at Teaching Hospital after protracted illness
Deep sorrow has gripped Kebbe Local Government Area of Sokoto State following the death of its Council Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Yarima Kebbe.
The respected local leader died on Friday at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto after a long illness.
His death brings to a close a political career defined by unwavering commitment to grassroots governance and community development.
According to family sources, Hon. Yarima is survived by his wife, children, and numerous grandchildren.
He was widely regarded as a dedicated public servant whose leadership left a lasting impact on Kebbe and its people.
In line with Islamic customs, funeral prayers and burial will be held today at his residence in Bado, immediately following the Jumu’at congregational prayers.
