BREAKING: 2 Coronavirus patients dead in Lagos

Although Lagos did not record any new COVID-19 infection yesterday 20th of April according to Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NDDC) it has nonetheless recorded two fresh coronavirus deaths.

The development has brought COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 16

This was disclosed by Lagos State commisioner for Health Prof Akin Abayomi Tuesday.

According to him one of the cases was a returnee from India while the other one was a 36 year female with severe underlying health conditions

The tweet reads;

“No new case of #COVID19 was confirmed in Lagos on 20th April, 2020.

“However, #COVID19 related deaths were recorded in Lagos. One of the deceased was a 45 years old Nigerian male who returned from India in January, 2020.”

“The second death involved a 36 year old Nigerian🇳🇬; female with severe underlying health condition. She had no history of travel or contact with any #COVID19 confirmed case”.
