JUST IN: 182 new cases of coronavirus recorded across 16 States in Nigeria

One hundred and eighty two (182) new cases of COVID-19 have just been confirmed in Nigeria.

This was disclosed by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control in a statement via its official Twitter handle on Thursday evening.

According to the statement Lagos State remained the epicenter with one hundred and eleven (111) new cases of coronavirus. FCT followed with sixteen (16) new cases of COVID-19, while Akwa Ibom State is third with ten (10) new cases of coronavirus infections

The statement also shows that total new cases of infections in Nigeria has jumped up to eight thousand nine hundred and fifteen (8915) new cases of COVID-19, out of these figures two thousand five hundred and ninety two (2592) patients have been treated and discharged while two hundred and fifty nine (259) patients have died so far.
