They want to cancel my show in Nigeria after my comment against the Country – Davido

Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has hinted that his highly anticipated December show in Nigeria could be canceled due to the controversy sparked by his recent comments about the country’s economy.

The singer made waves after appearing on the American podcast ‘Big Homies House’, where he advised Americans against moving to Africa, particularly Nigeria.

He described the country’s economy as being in “shambles,” a remark that quickly drew significant backlash from Nigerians both at home and abroad.

Prominent figures such as Joe Igbokwe and Reno Omokri were quick to criticize Davido, accusing him of damaging Nigeria’s global reputation.

Regina Daniels deactivates Instagram amid husband’s alleged child with Chika Ike

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has deactivated her Instagram account, amid reports that her husband Sen. Ned Nwoko has allegedly had a child with Chika Ike, also an actress.

Social media was set abuzz over the weekend with alleged reports that Nwoko, who is married to six wives, has secretly welcomed another child with Chika.

The report gained traction as Chika Ike had earlier announced her pregnancy, sharing maternity photos that sparked both congratulatory messages and backlash from social media users.

A check on Instagram has revealed that Regina Daniels’ account is no longer accessible, which has further fueled netizens speculations.

The development is coming after reports surfaced online that the 24-year-old actress was picked by her father from the Airport, instead of Nwoko’s driver on her recent trip from the UK.

Also, the actress did not post anything on Valentine’s Day to celebrate her husband, or herself, as has always been her tradition to celebrate her man on such celebrations.

Adding to the speculation, Regina Daniels, known for publicly supporting her husband’s political career, was noticeably silent on his recent defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

JUST IN; 2 face Idibia declared missing as family reportedly alerts DSS

The family of Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has expressed growing concern over his sudden absence, prompting them to seek the intervention of the Department of State Services (DSS).

In a formal petition filed by the family’s legal representatives, Anuge, Anuge & Co., they revealed that they have been unable to reach the music star for several days, intensifying their fears for his well-being.

This development follows recent personal turmoil, including 2Face’s filing for divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia, and his reported proposal to Edo State legislator, Natasha Osawaru, during the ongoing divorce proceedings.

On Thursday night, the singer’s mother, Rose Idibia, made a public appeal in a viral video, pleading with Nigerians to urge Natasha to “release” her son.

In a letter dated February 7, the Idibia family revealed that frantic efforts to contact 2face have failed, prompting them to file a petition with the DSS.

The petition found that 2Face left his home early on February 10 for what appeared to be a typical morning stroll, but never returned.

It reads, “We are solicitors to the Idibia family, acting on their firm instructions to seek your urgent intervention regarding the disappearance of Mr. Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba. Our clients believe he may have been missing since February 10, 2025.”

Attempts by his family, staff, and record label to reach him have been unsuccessful, deepening concerns about his safety.

According to the petition, unusual activity on his social media accounts has raised alarms among the family members.

“The implications of this situation are grave, and the possibility of foul play cannot be ignored. Given his status as a responsible family man and a dedicated artist, his prolonged silence is deeply concerning,” the letter stated.
