Spend increased allocation you get under Tinubu, judiciously – Presidency tells State Governors

The Presidency has urged state governors to prioritise responsible spending of the newly increased Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) disbursements, ensuring that the funds directly benefit citizens.

This call was shared by Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Bwala revealed that the total revenue distributed in the latest FAAC allocation had reached an all-time high of N3.143 trillion, marking a historic record.

He attributed this achievement to President Tinubu’s reforms, which have focused on closing financial loopholes and unlocking resources for national development.

“Praise goes to President Bola Tinubu for eliminating inefficiencies and making funds available for meaningful growth,” Bwala remarked, emphasising that the country’s governors and local governments are now receiving unprecedented funding.

He encouraged governors to invest this windfall into tangible projects that will improve the well-being of the populace, urging them to “utilize these enhanced allocations wisely for the benefit of our people.”

Bwala further highlighted that this moment signals the arrival of substantial outcomes from the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda and reassured Nigerians of the government’s dedication to delivering real change.

“The time for reaping the rewards of Renewed Hope is here; let’s continue to trust the vision and leadership of President Tinubu,” he concluded, reaffirming his confidence in the government’s transformative plans for the nation.
