Recruitment: NAF invites successful candidates for Interview
The Nigerian Air Force has invited candidates who passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test to attend the Selection Board Interview for recruitment into the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
The development was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.
According to the statement, the list of shortlisted candidates has been published on the Air Force’s official recruitment portal, while the interview exercise is scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, from April 27 to June 13, 2026.
“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted across 15 NAF Bases on 5 December 2025… are invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women into BMTC 46/2025,” the statement read.
The Air Force directed candidates to adhere strictly to their assigned batch schedules as indicated on the portal, warning that failure to comply would result in disqualification.
“All shortlisted candidates are required to report strictly in accordance with their assigned batch schedule… Candidates who fail to report on their designated dates will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview,” it stated.
It also cautioned applicants against making any payments, stressing that the recruitment process is entirely free.
“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, and candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment at any stage of the exercise,” the statement added.
The invitation follows the aptitude test conducted in December 2025 across 15 centres nationwide, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin City, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja.
The exercise, which attracted over 20,000 applicants, was described by the Air Force as part of efforts to ensure inclusiveness and equal opportunity in recruitment.
Ejodame noted that the process is guided by merit and strict adherence to standards.
“The Nigerian Air Force remains firmly committed to recruiting the best candidates by merit, as the quality of our personnel is fundamental to operational effectiveness and the successful execution of our constitutional mandate,” he said.
