Controversial singer Portable has voiced his disappointment over a recent encounter with the former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, during a flight.
In a video circulating online, Portable recounted that although he was seated in first class while Obi flew in economy, their interaction was limited to just a handshake.
The artist expressed surprise at the brief exchange, suggesting he had expected a warmer or more engaging reception from the politician.
He went on to contrast the experience with what he imagined would have occurred if he had met President Bola Tinubu, implying the encounter would have been more memorable or respectful.
“The day I see Peter Obi, make I no lie, na handshake I collect. Na first class I dey, Peter Obi dey economy. I go greet Peter Obi, na only handshake e give me. If na Tinubu I go collect bundle…”, he said.
