Police release stolen, abandoned vehicles to the public for owners to claim them
Stolen and abandoned vehicles in Adamawa State has been released by operatives of the state police command for the owners to claim.
According to the command, the vehicles included those that were stolen or were abandoned by the owners or drivers following accidents they had with them.
According to a statement by the police spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, made available on Wednesday, the Command said the vehicles were recovered after investigations and kept at the Central Motor Traffic Division (CMTD).
According to the Command, the brands of the vehicles includes, Nissan Hilux, Honda Accord, Honda EOD, Toyota Starlet, amongst others.
The police stated: “The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, calls on members of the public whose motor vehicles were either stolen, missing or abandoned to report to Central Motor Traffic Division with original proof of ownership and claim it.”
