Nigeria confirms 193 new coronavirus cases in 15 States

One hundred and ninety three (193) new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in fifteen (15) States across Nigeria.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control through its official Twitter handle Thursday evening.

The Centre disclosed that Lagos State has fifty eight (58) new coronavirus infections, closely followed by Kano State with forty six (46) new COVID-19 cases while Jigawa State has (35) new infections cases.

Further analysis shows that total new coronavirus infections in Nigeria is now five thousand one hundredand sixty two (5162), out of these figure, one thousand one hundred and eighty (1180) patients have been treated and discharged while one hundred and sixty seven deaths have been recorded.
