Police commence investigation as 24-year-old Man allegedly hangs self to death
The Police Command in Ebonyi says a 24-year-old man, Joshua Kosoro has taken his life at Umuogodo Akpu in Ohaukwu Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
The Command’s Spokesman, SP Joshua Ukandu, who confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abakaliki, said the incident occurred on Sunday, Nov. 16.
“On Sunday, one Joshua Kosoro from Umuogodo Akpu community, Ohaukwu LGA, who was based in Lagos came to Ebonyi and told his relatives that he was hearing strange voices.
“He said that the voices talk to him and always ask him to do strange things.
“The relatives went out to look for solution to the issue; as everyone was away from the house he stayed back; before they could comeback, they saw that he has hanged himself to death.
“The officers of the command visited the scene and the body was taken to the hospital, where he was certified dead.
Ukandu said that the report was brought to the command’s table by his relatives adding that investigation into the incident had commenced. (NAN)
