BREAKING: Gov Ganduje announces lockdown in Kano

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has announced the complete lockdown of the state, for one week with effect from Thursday , 16, April, 2020.

The lockdown is total with ban on mosques and church services’

This disclosure was made by Gov Ganduje during a meeting with religious leaders this evening at the Kano State Government House.

According to the Governor, “this is a complete lockdown of the state, where there is no market, no social activities, no mosque, no Church and people should stay at home”.

He urged residents to cooperate and support this decision, as a measure to prevent the spread of this dreaded COVID-19 in the state.
