Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, former Secretary to the Kano State Government, has issued a bold warning to Governor Abba Yusuf and his political mentor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, promising to reveal explosive details about their actions.
Speaking publicly for the first time since his dismissal in December 2024, Bichi claimed to possess a trove of compromising materials, including documents, voice recordings, and videos, which he vowed to expose “when the time is right.”
Bichi, who was removed from his post alongside five other commissioners by Governor Yusuf, made the remarks during a public address on Thursday, shortly after returning from a trip to Saudi Arabia.
He promised his supporters that the political secrets of his former allies would soon be unveiled, signaling a potential new chapter in Kano’s ongoing political drama.
Bichi’s threats add fuel to the growing tension within the state’s political landscape, as questions swirl around the true nature of the relationships between the key figures in the state’s leadership.
He said, “I’m happy that I have finished my tenure in peace. As you know, this is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate time we will expose them so that people will understand the kind of people they are.
“They are not trustworthy people. They’re very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted.
“We have documented everything from written to audio and video evidence.”
