JUST IN: INEC announces winner of Abaji Area Council chairmanship election in FCT

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Umar Abdullahi Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the Abaji Area Council chairmanship election in the Federal Capital Territory.

He defeated other contenders – Sokodabo Bilyaminu (PDP) and Mohammed Ibrahim (ADC).
