Housewife arrested for allegedly cutting Husband’s Manh**d during argument
Operatives of the Ogun State police have arrested 28-year-old Yemisi Ogunlana for allegedly cutting her husband’s manhood during a heated argument.
The incident reportedly took place in the Oko-Oba area of Ogijo, where Yemisi is said to have used a sharp object to attack 31-year-old Idowu Adebowale.
According to a statement from the police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, the husband reported the incident to the Ogijo Division around 5:15 p.m.
Following her arrest, Yemisi denied the allegations during questioning.
Odutola said: “He reported an attempted murder case on Monday at about 5:15 p.m.
“A 31-year-old man named Idowu Adebowale, from the Oko-Oba area of Ogijo, came to the police station and stated that on October 15 at 4:30 a.m., his wife, 28-year-old Ogunlana Yemisi, used a sharp object to severely injure his manhood during a minor disagreement.
“He showed the officers the injury, revealing a significant cut near the tip of his penis.
“But given the severity of the injury and the length of time the complainant had not sought medical help, he was provided with a medical form and advised to go to the hospital.”
Odutola stated that the suspect is currently in custody, and the case will be forwarded to the SCID in Abeokuta for further investigation.
She suggested that uncontrolled anger, which resulted in domestic violence, is believed to be the underlying cause of the incident.
