Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested two individuals, Akintoye Waris and Ajayi Yusuf, for allegedly stealing a valuable Savannah he-goat and slaughtering it for a child’s naming ceremony.

The stolen goat, worth N200,000, belonged to a local farmer, identified only as Mark.

On December 25, 2024, Mark had taken his livestock, including the he-goat, out to graze. However, upon his return, he discovered that one goat was missing.
