Ex Arsenal star, Thomas Partey charged with five counts of rape, one count of sexual assault

Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been formally charged with multiple sexual offences, including five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

The 32-year-old, whose contract with Arsenal recently expired, is accused of committing the offences between 2021 and 2022.

According to the charges, two counts of rape involve one woman, while three others pertain to a second woman. The sexual assault charge involves a third woman.

Partey is scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
