BREAKING: 34 new COVID-19 confirmed as virus spreads in Nigeria
Thirty-four new cases of coronavirus have been reported in five states across Nigeria.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this through its Twitter handle Wednesday night.
The states are;
18 Lagos
12 in Kano
2 in Katsina
1 in Delta
1 in Niger
The total new confirmed cases in Nigeria according to NCDC has therefore alarmingly jumped to a new high of 407. 128 patients have been discharged while 12 deaths have been recorded.
“As at 11:20 pm 15th April there are 407 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 128 have been discharged with 12 deaths”, according to the tweet.
