2023: Popular Prophet reveals possible winners governorship elections in 3 selected States
The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a terrifying prediction on how the governorship elections in Abia, Taraba, and Katsina states will be won and lost.
According to The Daily Post, the primate said the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Abia State, Alex Otti, and YPP, Engr Enyinnaya Nwafor, have brighter chances than other parties in the State if they can work and strategise properly.
He explained that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be thrown into chaos, while the candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Greg Ibe, would be incapacitated with a terminal illness.
According to Ayodele: “In Abia State, if the PDP isn’t careful, their candidate will be challenged to contest this election. If Labour Party candidate, Alex Otti works hard and strategizes properly, his name will be everywhere.
“YPP candidate, Enyinnaya Nwafor can also make a very good move but APGA’s candidate, Greg Ibe will be incapacitated because I see a terminal disease happening to him.
“The PDP members will be in disarray, they must strategize well otherwise their candidate will not make any serious impact. Labour party can pull a huge surprise in the state.”
In Taraba State, the clergyman said PDP governorship candidate, Kefas Agbu, would win the election and the party would fare well in the presidential election in the state.
“The Taraba PDP candidate, Kefas Agbu will excel no matter the circumstances and situation, he will make an impact. PDP will win in Taraba State both in governorship and presidential,” Ayodele said.
In Katsina State, he cautioned the All Progressives Congress, APC, to be careful of the PDP because the latter would pull surprises in the state.
Ayodele also cautioned members of the APC to be wary of internal betrayal.
He noted that the PDP would win the governorship election if the poll is not rigged.
A five-member panel of the apex court unanimously held that the election was conducted in violation of relevant laws.
Justice Jamilu Tukur, in the lead judgment, agreed with the appellant, the All Progressives Congress (APC), that conditions precedent were not complied with before the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) held the election.
Justice Tukur held that there was no evidence that the voters’ registration continued until 90 days before the election and that the requisite notices were issued as required by law.(NAN)

The Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment, reigniting a heated public dispute.
Speaking on ARISE TV on Friday, Akpoti-Uduaghan revealed her allegations, which follow a previous confrontation with Akpabio over the unauthorized change of her Senate seat.
The controversial seat change sparked a tense argument between the two, leading to Akpoti-Uduaghan being referred to the Senate’s Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions for disciplinary review.
Chaired by Senator Neda Imaseun (LP, Edo South), the committee was given two weeks to present its findings after lawmakers revisited the matter. They emphasised the importance of adhering to parliamentary rules and maintaining decorum.
Adding fuel to the fire, Akpoti-Uduaghan has filed a N100.3 billion fundamental human rights lawsuit against Akpabio. During her interview, she claimed to have evidence supporting her allegations, including screenshots of WhatsApp conversations between her and Akpabio.
She also stated that her husband is a witness to the events, and she challenged the Department of State Services (DSS) to examine the conversations for further details, as Akpabio frequently contacted her via the messaging platform.
She said: “My issue with Akpabio started on 8th of December, 2023 when myself and my husband visited Akwa Ibom for Senator Akpabio’s birthday. Akpabio was showing me around his house and was holding my hands with my husband following behind us when he said, he wants me to come and be spending special moments in his house. My husband heard him and later told me not to travel abroad alone or be with the Senate President alone.
“In February, I wanted to move a motion for the investigation on the ills of the corrupt practice in a Ajaokuta steel company. I listed that motion five times. It was the sixth time that it was listed on the order paper that was approved. Many senators can testify to that.
“Before the motion made the order paper, I went to the Senate President in his office, and I said, Senate President,’ you know how important this Ajaokuta Steel Company is to me, you know how important it is to my people and to Nigerians. I’ve noticed that you have stepped down this motion’. As a matter of fact, a number of senators told me to see him and plead with him so that he would take it. I was like, ‘sir, please, why can’t you take this motion? It’s very important’ Then, it was listed the third time and stepped down.
“He then said, ‘Natasha, I’m the Chief presiding officer of the Senate, you can enjoy a whole lot if you take care of me. Make me happy’. At that point, I said, ‘Sir, I’ll pretend that I didn’t hear this’. He said, ‘well, the ball is in your court’. I left his office
“My case is a case of a student being punished by a lecturer for refusing to sleep with him.”
Akpabio has not yet responded to the allegation, which is currently trending online.

The Kano State Government has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to step in and remove Emir Aminu Ado Bayero from the Nasarawa Palace.
The government claimed that certain individuals were taking advantage of the emir’s continued residence in the Nasarawa Palace to incite unrest throughout the state.
During a ceremony at the Kano Government House, where relief materials from Tarauni Federal Constituency Representative, Hon. Kabiru Dahiru Sule, were being distributed, Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo emphasised the administration’s position.
He reiterated the call for presidential action to address the ongoing situation and bring about calm.
“We are calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to remove the emir he enthroned and kept in a graveyard,” Gwarzo said.
“The people of Kano, especially the youth, are tired of this nonsense. It is shocking that in a democratic setting, security forces are being deployed to fire teargas at peaceful protesters, with some reports even alleging the use of live ammunition.
“In the evening, military vehicles patrolled the city, even parking in front of my house. But we want to make it clear that there is no intimidation. This is a democracy, and democracy must be upheld, whether some people like it or not. We stand firmly with the youth who took to the streets to express their grievances.
“The president should remove the emir he appointed and take him to his own state. Kano already has an emir and that’s Muhammadu Sanusi II. Today, regardless of who you are, even if you are the ‘Emir of the World,’ you cannot appoint an emir in Kano unless you are Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.”
Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has accused the continued presence of Emir Aminu Ado Bayero in the Nasarawa Palace of being a deliberate attempt to destabilize the Kano State Government and obstruct its ability to govern effectively.
Gwarzo acknowledged the recent protests by Kano residents, affirming that peaceful demonstrations are a fundamental right in any democratic society.
However, he strongly condemned the actions of security forces, who dispersed the protesters and arrested some individuals. Gwarzo stressed that the people of Kano have every right to demand the removal of Emir Bayero.
Reiterating the state government’s position, Gwarzo called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to act swiftly and remove the emir.
He emphasized that the same law that facilitated Bayero’s appointment also reinstated Muhammadu Sanusi II, underscoring the importance of upholding the rule of law and allowing it to take its proper course.
