Sporadic Gunshots; One person dead in cult supremacy clash
AN unidentified young man has died in a rival cult clash in Essi Layout, Warri South council area of Delta State.
The incident reportedly happened on Friday night.
The deceased was found lying on a dirt path, with machete cuts on his forehead and arms, yesterday morning.
According to reports, several shots rented the air as the cultists engaged in a show of power.
Police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident.
“It is confirmed, I think it was a cult clash.”
