Keffi ( Nasarawa State) June 30, 2024 ( NAN) Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Danladi Jatau, has condoled with the Minister of State, Police Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, over the death of her mother, Hajiya Aisha Sulaiman.
The speaker while condoling with her on Saturday in Keffi, Keffi LGA, urged the bereaved family to take solace in God.
He said that the death of their mother was painful, especially now that her motherly role and advice were highly needed.
“God gives life and takes at will, let all of us accept it as the will of God and continue to pray for her.
” On behalf of myself, family, Principal Officers, Honourable members and staff of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, I am here to condole with you over the death of your mother.
“Mama’s death was a shocking and painful one but what can we say, we can not question the act of God, I want you to take solace in God,” he said.
Jatau also urged the family to bear the irreparable loss, saying that Mama had lived a fulfilled life.
The speaker prayed to God to forgive Mama’s shortcomings and grant her Aljanatu Firdausi.
Responding, the minister thanked the speaker and his entourage for identifying with the family at their trial moment.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the deceased died on Thursday.
