Presidency sheds light on when schools will re-open

Presidency has shed more light on when schools in Nigeria might re open. This is just as President Buhari extended the lockdown imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19 by another week.

Femi Adwsina President Buhari Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs spoke on the topic while on TVS Tuesday Morning.

He said schools could be ordered to re open especially for students that are about to write exams”.

He said: “If you look at Germany, they gradually reduced their lockdown by opening the schools for those who have exams”.


“Same may apply here as those who are to write WAEC and take examinations may be allowed to resume to take their exams.

“The Presidential Task Force will be the ones to decide on when to re-open
