Man allegedly defile two Girls aged 17, and 18 one after the other, gave them N500 each
A 67-year-old man, Bala Mohammed, has been apprehended by the Bauchi State Police Command for allegedly raping two girls after deceiving them with money.
The fathers of the girls had earlier reported the rape incident at the A’ Divisional Police Headquarters in June 22, 2024.
They claimed that Mohammed lured their daughters, one 17-year-old and the other 16-year-old of the same address into his room and had and allegedly raped them.
This was confirmed in a statement by the Command’s Spokesman Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, revealed in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday, July 5.
They stated that the suspect voluntarily confessed to the crime and corroborated the victims’ statements during interrogation.
He further stated that the victims revealed that the suspect raped them each, up to five times, and thereafter gave them N500 each.
In the statement ”investigation is still ongoing, and the suspect will be profiled and charged to court once it is completed.”
