Veteran actor Prince Oyewole Olowomojuore, widely known as Baba Gebu, has passed away following an undisclosed illness.
Reports confirm that the prominent Yoruba-language film actor died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
The news was shared by fellow actor Kunle Afod, who hailed Baba Gebu as “a great legend, a great actor who passed away this evening after a brief illness… BABA GEBU may your soul rest in peace.”
Baba Gebu enjoyed a career spanning several decades, featuring in numerous acclaimed productions and leaving a lasting imprint on Nollywood, particularly in Yoruba cinema.
