Journalist allegedly shot by by Police operatives
Toba Adedeji, a Journalist with the Nation Newspaper has been shot by Police operatives on Tuesday in the Osun State.
Adedeji was shot alongside a female teenager at Olaiya, Osogbo by overzealous policemen who wanted to disperse a crowd of protesters protesting the killing of Abiola Afolabi who was killed by police in April 4, 2022.
The crowd had converged on Olaiya street to mourn the passage of Mr Afolabi when police open fire at the crowd to disperse them.
In the process, Adedeji and one other were shot, however, it was gathered that Adedeji had been rushed to the Osun State University Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Afolabi was buried today and his friends held a rally to mourn him.
