I can’t see anyone capable of removing President Tinubu in 2027 elections

Tope Fasua, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Economic Affairs, has expressed strong confidence in the President’s prospects for securing a second term in office in 2027.

Fasua, speaking on the political landscape, confidently stated that he sees no viable challenger capable of unseating Tinubu in the upcoming presidential election.

He further asserted that other political parties currently lack the necessary platform and resources to mount a serious challenge to the President’s re-election bid.

In a recent interview with broadcast journalist, Seun Okinbaloye, Fasua said, “I don’t see who will remove [Bola Ahmed] Tinubu in 2027.

“I don’t even see where you’re going to start. It is going to end up in frustration.

“They don’t even have a platform anymore. Which platform are they using?”

In the 2023 Presidential election, Bola Tinubu emerged victorious, securing the presidency under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He triumphed over notable contenders, including Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
