Gunmen are afraid of our village – Zamfara community dares Bandits
According to reports, bandits that terrorize Zamfara State have admitted that they stay away from Kauri, a community in the Kaura Local Government Area, because of the locals’ supernatural abilities.
“The village is home to a strong presence of Yansakai members—traditional militia groups—that intimidate the bandits,” local resident Illiyasu Muhammad told Daily Post in Gusau, the state capital.
Muhammad clarified, “The Yansakai members here are prepared to confront the bandits, which is why they are afraid of our village.”
He went on to detail how the bandits have been targeting nearby villages but have been unable to penetrate Kauri.
“When the terrorists first came into our village, many of them were eliminated by the Yansakai group,” he said.
Muhammad emphasized that the bandits now steer clear of Kauri, aware of both the spiritual and physical strength of the community.
“As I speak to you now, no bandit dares approach our village because they know our power.”
