Governor gives 28-year-old Daughter one year ultimatum to bring home suitor, get married
Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke has playfully advised his daughter Nike to find a partner and get married in time.
In a chat on her Instagram page, Nike asked her father how he viewed her being single at 28.
The question however prompted a humorous and emotional response from Governor Adeleke.
Mike asked: “I am now 28 and I am about to be 29. How do you feel about me not being married yet?”
The Governor, stated that he got married at 27 and had Nike’s brother, Adesina.
He reminded his daughter that she is not getting any younger and urged her to start thinking about settling down.
The Governor gave her “one more year” to settle down adding that she was not getting any younger.
He said: “Better start getting ready to get married. That is the next thing. You think you are young? I am expecting all those toasters, better bring one so you can come and tell me dad this is the one I am going to marry.
“Do you know that at the age of 27, 28 I got married and I had your brother Adesina? You are now 28, I am giving you one more year.”
