FRSC, firm donate 1,000 helmets to commercial motorcycle Riders

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), in partnership with Boska Nigeria Dexa-medica, on Thursday donated 1,000 protective helmets to commercial motorcycle riders in Sokoto State.

Inaugurating the distribution, Mr. Hassan Maikano, the FRSC Sector Commander, explained that the initiative was part of their Ember Months activities, adding, ;; the gesture is aimed at enhancing the safety of road users.

“This year, we’ve collaborated with Boska Nigeria to ensure the well-being and safety of motorcycle riders in our state.

“The helmets generously provided by Boska Nigeria are intended to offer substantial protection to riders in the unfortunate event of a road accident,” he said.


Maikano said that the effort was designed to elevate safety standards and reduce the occurrence of accidents on the road.

He commended Dexa-medica for its support and called on other stakeholders to wmulate it
The sector commander urged the beneficiaries to make the most of this opportunity, underscoring that wearing helmets not only safeguards them but also enhances their recognition among the public.

Mr Nnamdi Ezeani, the Brand Manager at Boska Nigeria, expressed gratitude to the FRSC for allowing their company to contribute to this important cause.

Ezeani clarified that the project aligned with Boska Nigeria’s commitment to the health and well-being of the nation’s citizens.

He emphasized that the primary goal of the initiative was to ensure the safety of motorcycle riders, enabling them to conduct their businesses with confidence. (NAN)
