Enough is Enough; Group warns disruptive elements, salutes Nigerian Army, hails IG of Police

The National Leadership of the Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria (ELFON), has warned that the Nigeria’s emerging leaders will give no room to disruptive and unscrupulous elements whose intention is to cause discord and instability in Nigeria.

The group also hailed the Nigeria Army, under Lt.Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, for the courage and patriotism shown in safe guarding the nation through difficult times.

CRIMECHANNELS gathered that the National President of ELFON; Ambassador Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel made this remarks during an Emergency virtual meeting with Principal Officers of ELFON and 16 heads of 16 prominent National Youth and student groups on November 7, 2020.

Part of his statement reads, “We will not allow any force, elements or destabilising agents in or outside our country to set our beloved country on fire, and as such we salute the doggedness, intelligence, defence and diligent tactics of the Lt.Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai’s led Nigerian Army for withstanding the storm of sabotage and foiling all plots to destabilize Nigeria; hence, we will render our unflinchingly support as Emerging Leaders in Partnership with the Nigerian Army to foster National Unity.”


Briefing newsmen after the meeting, he said that the best system of governance is democracy and that all must ensure that Nigeria’s democracy remained stable and steady at this critical time.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, for the establishment of the people oriented initiative; Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) which he said will help create awareness on issues such as cultism, drug abuse, armed robbery and other ill social vices in the society.

Ambassador Godstime also said that he has mobilized about 22 million dogged, patriotic and progressive Nigerian Youths across the 774 LGAs of the Federation to Partner with the security agencies to ensure a One United Nigeria forthwith.
