BREAKING: Local Govt secretariat in Rivers State set ablaze

A significant section of the Eleme Local Government Area secretariat in Rivers State has been rocked by explosion and inferno.

It was gathered the newly elected Chairman, Brain Gokpa with councillors and supporters, arrived at the LG secretariat and discovered that some buildings in the complex were on fire.

The incident occurred a day after the winners of the controversial Rivers local government elections by the Action Peoples Party (APP) were sworn in.
