BREAKING; Nigeria records 550 new cases of COVID-19 in one day; total confirmed cases now 70,195

The Federal government has recorded five hundred and fifty (550) new cases of Coronavirus infections in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control
(NCDC) disclosed this on its official Twitter handle Tuesday evening.

According to the statement, Lagos State led the way way with two hundred and nineteen (219) new cases of infections, followed by FCT with one hundred and sixty eight (168) new cases, while Kaduna State has fifty eight (58) new cases to occupy third place

The message also revealed that total confirmed new cases of Coronavirus infections in Nigeria is now 70,195. Out of these figure, 65,110 patients have been treated and discharged from Isolation Centres while 1,182 deaths have been recorded in the process
