BREAKING: Jubilation as President Buhari approves another appointment

There was Jubilation in the Federal Medical Center Abeokuta, in Ogun State, just as President Muhammadu Buhari reappointed Professor Adewale Musa-Olomu as the Medical Director of the Centre for a final term of 4 years.

Prior to his reappointment, it was learnt that Prof. Adewale had stepped aside about 3/months ago after completing his first term in office. His reappointment was said to have spread round the Medical Center on Thursday, Sept. 2.

CRIME CHANNELS gathered that the development followed the approval from President Buhari through the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, via a letter dated 18th August 2021. According to the letter, the reappointment of Prof. Adewale takes effect from June 1, 2021.

Meanwhile, several Medical personnel, including staff of the facility jumped up in celebration following the swearing-in of the Medical Director by the Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora at the Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, the Minister, Mr. Olorunnimbe, congratulated Prof. Adewale and charged him to redouble his efforts towards the provision of qualitative health care services in the Centre.


In his remarks, the MD, Federal Medical Center, Prof. Adewale thanked the Minster, President Muhammadu Buhari, as well as members of the public for the confidence reposed in him.

He promised to give his best in his second tenure, he also said that he would work towards the holistic development of the Hospital.
