BREAKING Five Commissioners resign from Fubaras cabinet as political crisis escalates

Two more Rivers State commissioners loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and former governor, Nyesom Wike, have resigned amid political crisis.

The two commissioners resignation letters was separately addressed to the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, through the Office of the secretary to the Rivers State Government.

The two commissioners are: Commissioner for Social Welfare, Inime Aguma, and the Commissioner for Transport, Jacobson Nbina.

About five commissioners have informed the State Governor of their decision to quit his administration following the lingering political crisis in the state.


According to Daily Post, the Commissioner for Education, Professor Prince Chinedu Mmom, Commissioner for Housing, Gift Worlu and the Commissioner for Environment, Austen Ben-Chioma, have earlier today notified Fubara of their resignations.
