Nollywood actress Victoria Akanke Ajibola, popularly known as Omo Local, has revealed the shocking circumstances that led to her divorce, sharing for the first time how both she and her best friend became pregnant by her husband at the same time.
The actress recounted the traumatic experience during a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, describing the emotional toll it took on her.
Omo Local disclosed that while she was five months pregnant, her best friend was already three months pregnant with her husband’s child. The revelation left her overwhelmed and deeply ashamed.
“The trauma was so much to the extent that I took poison because of shame,” she said, recalling the devastating moment.
Asked about her friend, Omo Local said she had lost touch: “Anyway, I don’t know about her whereabouts anymore. Maybe she’s still together with my ex-husband, I don’t know, but they had about three (children) together after I left him.”
