BREAKING: Federal Govt, Labour to continue negotiations amid nationwide strike
The Federal Government has summoned a meeting of the tripartite committee on the new national minimum wage for tomorrow.
Last meeting of the committee ended abruptly on May 31, after Organised Labour negotiating team walked out following government and organised private sector, OPS, refusal to go beyond the N60,000 they had earlier offered.
It was gathered that tomorrow’s meeting will be by 10 am.
According to sources, the government is alarmed by the level of compliance and participation by workers in the first day of indefinite nationwide strike.
