BREAKING; 595 new cases of COVID-19 recorded across 24 States in Nigeria

Five hundred and ninety five (595) new cases of coronavirus infections have been recorded in Nigeria.

This was disclosed by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control in its daily update on COVID-19 status released via its official Twitter handle on Thursday evening.

According to the statement Lagos State recorded 156 new COVID-19 infections, followed by Ondo State with 95 new cases while Rivers State came third with 53 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours.

A closer look at the statement reveals that total number of coronavirus infections in Nigeria has jumped to 34, 854. Out of these cases 14, 292 patients have been treated and discharged from Isolation Centres accros Nigeria, while 769 deaths have been recorded so far.
