Two hundred and seventy six (276) new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the Centre, Lagos State remains the epicenter and leads the pack with one hundred and sixty one (161) new cases of coronavirus infections in the country. Second on the list is Rivers State with thirty six (36) new coronavirus infections while Edo State according to the statement has twenty seven (27)

Total new cases of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigeria according to the statement is now eight thousand three hundred and forty four(8344), two thousand three hundred and eighty five (2395) while 249 deaths have been recorded.
