“Army Major” driving Military van arrested by Policemen

Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force in Delta State have arrested a Solider impersonator for falsely parading himself as a Major in the Nigerian Army.

The fake Soldier, Ojuma, who hails from Abbi in Ndokwe Local Government Area of Delta State was also caught with hard substances suspected to be Indian hemp in his possession.

The suspect was arrested by Police men along the Sapele-Benin road on the 31st of July, 2020, while driving a Military van.

According to a post made by the Police force on its social media page, it says, “a fake Military van with plate number NA142-B01 conveying 420 packs of compressed weeds suspected to be Indian Hemp was also recovered from the suspect.”


Upon interrogation, the soldier impersonator said he has been involved in the sale of Indian hemp and weed since 2014.

He also admitted that the van he was seen driving during his arrest belonged to him, and that he bought the Army plate number from a serving personnel.

He also confessed that he bought the soldier camouflage from a mammy market in the barracks, he said he was able to purchase it because he grew up in a barracks.
